London Museum of Water & Steam Grand Easter Steam Up

When:
10.00am -4.00pm, Friday 30 March, Saturday 31 March, Sunday 1 April & Monday 2 April

Where:
Green Dragon Lane, Brentford, London TW8 0EN

What:
Celebrate Easter at the Museum with four days of steam and fun for all the family. For the Grand Easter Steam Up all the engines will be in steam, from the Cornish giants to the rotative water pumping engines and the Victorian steam fire engine. The Waterworks Railway will also be giving unlimited free rides all weekend. There’s lots to do for all the family: watch live chicks hatch, make an Easter headdress and follow our Easter Egg trail. If it’s not too nippy, there’s also a new Splash Zone and kids can let off steam in the Museum garden.

Easter weekend also marks the opening of the Museum’s new public gallery, the Electric House, which explains the introduction of electric engines to London water pumping stations. There will be free tours of the Electric House at midday each day of the Easter weekend.
