A good way to explore the rich history of the ancient towns and villages that make up the Borough of Hounslow is to take a tour with an accredited Hounslow Heritage Guide. Regular guided walks are held in Brentford, Chiswick and Isleworth from June to October. All are taken at a gentle pace and last around 90 minutes.
Taking in magnificent Thames views, a rich heritage from Tudor times; dwellings built in Charles II’s reign, the site of the pottery, and a one time home of landscape painter J.M.W. Turner. As an added incentive, teas are available at All Saints Church to round off the walk.
